SEAMAE TECHNOLOGY COMPANY LIMITED (“Seamae,” “we,” “us”) operates a digital marketplace where buyers can purchase goods from various third-party sellers as well as from Seamae Official.

We strive to ensure every transaction is safe and satisfactory. However, due to the digital nature of the products sold on our platform (software keys, gift cards, digital accounts), returns and refunds are handled differently than physical goods.

This policy outlines the rules that all Sellers on Seamae must adhere to and the specific circumstances under which a Buyer is eligible for a refund.

1. General Refund Principle

Generally, all sales of digital products are final. Once a license key, code, or account credential has been viewed or delivered to your dashboard/email, it is considered “used” and cannot be returned for a refund due to a “change of mind.”

However, we offer a Money-Back Guarantee if the product is proven to be defective or not as described, subject to the conditions below.

2. Eligibility for a Refund (Covered Reasons)

You are eligible for a full refund or replacement if your case falls under one of the following categories:

  • Invalid or Non-Working Key: The license key provided is invalid, used, or inactive upon purchase.

  • Product Not as Described: The item received is fundamentally different from the Seller’s listing description (e.g., wrong region, wrong version, wrong duration).

  • Non-Delivery: The Seller failed to deliver the product within the guaranteed delivery time (usually instant or within 24 hours), and no response was provided.

  • Technical Defects: The account or software has a critical technical fault that prevents it from functioning, and the Seller is unable to fix it.

3. Non-Refundable Situations (Exclusions)

We (and our Sellers) are generally unable to offer refunds in the following situations:

  • Change of Mind / Accidental Purchase: You bought the wrong product, wrong region, or decided you no longer need it after the key/account details have been revealed.

  • Incompatible Hardware: The product works, but your device does not meet the minimum system requirements explicitly stated in the description.

  • Self-inflicted Issues: The account or key was banned/suspended due to your violation of the developer’s Terms of Service (e.g., using cheats, hacks, or changing account details without authorization).

  • Better Price Found: You found the item cheaper on another website after purchasing.

4. Dispute & Refund Process

Since Seamae is a marketplace, we encourage direct communication between Buyer and Seller first.

  • Step 1: Contact the Seller: If you have an issue, please message the Seller directly via your Order page. Sellers are given 24-48 hours to respond and resolve the issue (e.g., by sending a replacement key).

  • Step 2: Escalate to Seamae: If the Seller does not respond or refuses to resolve a valid claim, you may escalate the case to Seamae Support.

  • Step 3: Investigation: We will review the evidence (screenshots, chat history). Seamae acts as the final arbitrator.

  • Step 4: Resolution:

    • If the Buyer wins the dispute: A refund will be processed immediately from the Seller’s funds.

    • If the Seller wins (e.g., the key was verified as working): The refund request will be denied.

5. Refund Method & Timeline

If your refund request is approved:

  • Method: Refunds are processed back to your original payment method (Stripe, Google Pay, Apple Pay) or provided as Store Credit for immediate use, depending on your preference and technical feasibility.

  • Timeline:

    • Store Credit: Instant.

    • Original Payment Method: It may take 5-10 business days for the funds to appear in your bank account, depending on your bank’s processing time.
